With a guided tour of Sámi culture, you can learn about the Sámi way of life, culture and history in a variety of ways. In addition to experiences, our tours include full service, accommodation, meals, guidance and transportation in the area and, for example, from the airport. We operate primarily in the Utsjoki area, which is the northernmost municipality in Finland.

Sea Sámi fishing in Tana fjord
Tana fjord is a magical place with a diverse landscape and a rich fish and birdlife. Tena fjord has traditionally been a recreational area for the Sámi people living along the river Deatnu (Tana). People along the river have gone there to catch cod, saithe and halibut.
Preparing traditional dishes
On our trips you can process meat or fish using traditional Sami methods, such as salting, smoking and drying. In the picture, salted moose meat is prepared in a few days.

Participating in the everyday life of a reindeer herder offers an unforgettable experience in the harsh winter landscapes of Paistunturi in Utsjoki. Reindeer herding is linked to the reindeer's natural seasonal rhythm and involves diverse work and unique skills.

Craft workshops offer diverse and creative opportunities to work with your hands and learn new skills. F.ex. make earrings from bone and silver for yourself or as a gift.

Stargazing is a wonderful opportunity to experience the splendor above us in a beautiful natural setting. Star patterns and the Northern Lights have a special meaning in Sámi culture.

Fishing trips offer the opportunity to experience the Sámi fishing culture in the middle of nature, learn about traditional fishing methods, enjoy the excitement of fishing and the possibility of catching a fish. You can also participate in preparing fish using traditional methods.
